Well, not really…
Thing is, something odd happened to the phone camera in that the ‘Smart’ phone somehow forgot how to focus. Either that or the programming has been skewed by the numerous macro shots I’ve been taking. I tried resetting the camera by ‘turning off’ the app from the settings page on the phone. Didn’t quite work.
I figured that IF perhaps the focus function got screwed one way because of some photography habit, just maybe it could reset itself if I took enough pictures the normal way.
The absolute last resort is to take the phone back to the service centre where – no matter what the problem is – they’re gonna tackle it like any problem with a PC computer that runs Windows. They’re gonna scrub the phone clean and reinstall the operating system, which mean a whole extensive process of checking the contacts, putting back the birthdays into the calendar, reinstalling the apps and a whole lot of other personal customisation. Again. (yeh, did it once before.)
Anyway, as you can see, the pictures are coming out a little soft at times. The focus is slowly coming back (the escalators), but it really takes a number of lightly-pressing-the-button to keep getting the camera to focus on the right thing. Even then…
A couple of cool drinks might simmer things down a little.
Aside from shrinking the images, all photos are untouched.
